Job summary

BDO is seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to lead the financial accounting team within our Finance Department. You will oversee financial reporting, governance, and strategic direction to support business decisions.

This role requires CA/CPA with 5+ years in financial accounting, strong stakeholder communication, and proven ability to manage complex closes and drive process improvement. Workday experience is desirable, and you will mentor a team and collaborate with CFO and Financial

Qualifications

CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years in financial accounting.
Experience leading month-end and year-end closes for complex entities.
Experience in process improvement of month-end processes.
Workday experience is desirable.
Strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day activities of the financial accounting team.
Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, prepayments, journals and accruals.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy and integrity of the accounts.
Support the interim and annual audit process including overseeing the preparation of annual financial statements and notes.
Lead process improvement and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and promote best practice.
Conduct weekly cash flow analysis and general cash flow management.
