Job summary

Ventia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for the Gold Coast infrastructure contract portfolio, reporting to the Senior Finance Partner. You will oversee financial performance, drive value, and partner with operational leaders to deliver insights that boost business outcomes.

You will lead a team of accountants, drive close processes, budgeting, and forecasting while maintaining financial integrity in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Proven finance leadership experience in large contracts.
• Strong reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis skills.
• Experience handling large complex datasets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Collaborative leadership with team development track record.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
• SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Commerce and CA/CPA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Drive revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital optimisation.
• Prepare variance analysis and KPI dashboards, including Power BI.
• Oversee budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Provide commercial insights and risk analysis for contracts.
• Partner with operations and clients to support outcomes.
• Drive finance, payroll, procurement, and reporting process improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
• Foster cross-functional relationships across finance and operations.
