Infopro Digital, a global B2B group, seeks a Finance Manager to lead the Australian finance function from Sydney, driving controls, reporting and business partnering. Ensure compliance, budgeting and forecasts while shaping finance improvements with local and group stakeholders.

You will manage cash, statutory reporting and system enhancements, with hybrid work after training and collaboration with the AusREiiF line.

Qualifications

• Qualified CPA or CA ANZ (or equivalent).
• Senior finance or reporting experience with broader ownership.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance and audits.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Index Match).
• Experience maintaining ERP systems, ideally Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
• Willingness to learn Power BI and Power Automate.
• Understanding OECD Transfer Pricing Regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the Australian finance function – ledgers, AP/AR, banking and monthly management accounts.
• Own cash and treasury management including payment runs and banking relationships.
• Deliver group reporting obligations – monthly P&L uploads, quarterly consolidations, inter-company reconciliations.
• Support statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit processes with external advisers.
• Maintain and develop finance systems (Dynamics NAV/Business Central); explore Power BI/Power Automate.
• Support AusREiiF business line reporting and financial administration.
• Partner with local management and group stakeholders on budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide support for ad-hoc projects and cross-territory group initiatives.

Infopro Digital, the B2B group specializing in information and technology, is currently looking for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis to support our Australian business operations based in Sydney.

About the Business

Our Australian automotive business, Haynes Publishing Pty Limited, supports both B2B and B2C operating models and is experiencing continued growth. This newly scoped role offers the opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of the Australian finance function while partnering closely with both local and international stakeholders. The position also supports the Real Estate Forum (AusREiiF) business line and has significant potential to expand as the Australian business continues to grow.

What the role involves

This is a pivotal finance leadership role responsible for managing the Australian finance function, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, compliance, and business partnering across the territory. Reporting directly to the B2B Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the Australia General Manager, the successful candidate will act as the primary finance contact for local management and group finance teams.

The position offers significant exposure to both operational and strategic finance activities, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, systems development, cash management, compliance, and business improvement initiatives.

This job is in our Headquarters based in Kingsgrove, Sydney NSW. It is anticipated that after a short period of training, the role will move to a hybrid working environment of 3 days office attendance.

Responsibilities & duties

• Take end-to-end ownership of the Australian finance function – ledger, AP/AR, banking, and monthly management accounts including control account and revenue reconciliations.
• Own cash and treasury – payment runs, banking relationships, working capital, and aged debtor collection and reporting.
• Deliver Group reporting obligations – monthly P&L uploads, quarterly consolidation submissions, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Support statutory reporting, tax compliance and transfer pricing in conjunction with external advisers and Group specialists.
• Maintain and develop finance systems (Dynamics NAV/Business Central), with exposure to Power BI and Power Automate.
• Support the AusREiiF business line’s local reporting and financial administration.
• Partner with local management and Group stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and business improvement.
• Provide support for ad-hoc projects, reporting requirements and wider Group initiatives including collaboration with other territories and Group finance teams as required.

Requirements

• CPA or CA ANZ qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience in a senior finance or reporting role, ready to step up into broader ownership of a finance function.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS 15, IFRS 16 and consolidation principles.
• Experience supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit processes.
• Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Index Match functions.
• Experience maintaining and developing ERP systems, ideally Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
• Working knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
