Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia is recruiting a Finance Business Partner (Finance Manager) to plan, develop, organise, control and coordinate its Finance Department. Based in Burwood, NSW, you will provide senior managers with information to facilitate decision making and help develop systems and controls beyond the routine reporting.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, supervise junior staff, and contribute to system improvements like the Hhub platform.

Qualifications

• Relevant Business/Finance related degree.
• Experience with forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience with SAP Business One and the Hhub operating management system.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Determine, monitor, and evaluate management reporting tracking financial performance against budget.
• Provide advice to senior management on business performance, funding requirements and risk management.
• Implementation of cost performance and support the implementation of benchmarking and improvement initiatives.
• Assess capital finance proposals.
• Advise on investment strategies, sources of funds and earnings distribution.
• Variance analysis around actual results compared to budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre.
• Compiling the annual budget with senior management.
• Analyzing trends and financial performance across business units.
• Supervising and training junior staff.
• Participating in systems and process improvement initiatives, including the Hub operating management systems.

Our client an international marketing execution partner of the world's leading brands is looking for a Finance Business Partner (Finance Manager) to plan, develop, organise, control and coordinate its Finance Department.

Based in Burwood, NSW, and reporting to the Finance Director Asia Pacific we are looking for a senior person to help develop systems and controls within the business and to provide senior managers with the relevant information to facilitate decision making.

Duties and responsibilities

These may include and are not limited to

• Determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluation management reporting tracking financial performance against budget
• Provide advice to senior management on business performance, funding requirements and risk management
• Implementation of cost performance and support the implementation of benchmarking and improvement initiatives
• Assess capital finance proposals
• Advise on investment strategies, sources of funds and earning distribution
• Variance Analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre
• Compiling the annual budget with senior management
• Analysing trends and financial performance across business units
• Supervising and training junior staff
• Taking part in systems' and process improvement initiatives, including the
  implementation of the Hhub operating management systems.
