Job summary

Green Light Australia is seeking a Finance Business Partner or Finance Manager to join our Melbourne-based team on a permanent basis. You will partner with executives, lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, and advise on strategic financial decisions to drive commercial outcomes.

You will develop advanced financial models, monitor P&L performance, and mentor finance professionals while driving continuous improvement across planning, reporting, systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or finance operations.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Ability to partner with executive and senior leadership.
• Advanced financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
• Retail or FMCG experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leaders to provide strategic financial advice and decision support.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Deliver accurate financial forecasts and performance analyses to drive business outcomes.
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations from financial and operational data.

• Develop and maintain advanced financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases.
• Monitor and manage P&L performance, including revenue, margins, and costs.

• Support investment evaluations, pricing strategies, and commercial initiatives.
• Lead executive-level financial reporting and presentations.

Green Light Australiaare looking to engage a Finance Business Partners or Finance Managers with extensive Finance Business Partnering or Finance Operations and Financial Planning and Analysis experience to join their team

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive and senior business leaders to provide strategic financial advice and commercial decision support.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

• Coach, mentor, and develop Finance Business Partnering team members to build capability and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial planning, reporting, systems, processes, and performance management practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in similar role as a Finance Business Partner or Finance Manager or FB&A Manager or Finance Operations Managers for large corporate companies
• Retail or and FMCG industry experience will be seen as advantageous
• Extensive experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Finance Operations or commercial finance roles.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with executive, commercial, operational, and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management.
• Demonstrated experience managing and influencing business and P&L performance.
• Advanced financial analysis, modelling, and scenario planning capabilities.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to present to and challenge senior leaders constructively.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing finance professionals and teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience with ERP, planning, and reporting systems.
