Qantas Airways is seeking a dedicated finance business partner for Charters at Mascot HQ in Sydney. You’ll coordinate the end-to-end financial view across commercial, operational and finance teams, delivering insight from opportunity through to financial close.
You’ll bring 6+ years in FP&A or related finance roles, with strong forecasting, pricing and stakeholder management skills. This 24-month fixed-term, full-time role offers high visibility and real cross-functional impact.
Reporting to the Head of Finance – Planning and Performance, you’ll provide dedicated finance business partnering across Charters, network analysis and portfolio performance. As Charters operates across multiple business areas, you’ll bring together financial inputs and perspectives from commercial, operational and finance stakeholders, providing an integrated view across the charter lifecycle—from initial opportunity and aircraft allocation through delivery and financial close.
This highly visible, hands-on role combines commercial insight, performance analysis and practical process ownership. You’ll bring structure and accountability to complex decisions, identify emerging issues early and help stakeholders turn insight into action.
You’ll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged. Our people come together to allow us to dream big and deliver successfully.
There are many different opportunities across our team, which means you’ll be able to grow both personally and professionally at Qantas. Your development is a priority for us – so that you can maintain the high standards our customers have come to expect and can continue to develop over time. You’ll be supported from day 1 with on the job training and coaching as well as our formal training opportunities. While you may start in this role, we’ve got a great track record of supporting our people to take their career in so many different directions, the destinations are endless.
Qantas is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion. By coming to work for us, you'll be part of an organisation that encourages diversity, supports charities and environmental initiatives and ensures equal opportunities for all.
