MECCA understands the power of numbers to shape decisions. We are seeking a Finance Business Partner in Melbourne to own the P&L for a portfolio, partner with Heads of and General Managers, and influence commercial decisions to drive profitable growth in eCommerce and Loyalty.

You will deliver forecasts, scenarios and insights while supporting strategic initiatives and cross‑department collaboration in a fast‑growing, customer‑first business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in commercial finance, financial analysis or business partnering, ideally within a retail environment.
• Proven experience analysing loyalty program performance and customer data to inform commercial decisions.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and communicating insights clearly.
• Advanced Excel skills; TM1/Tableau/SQL experience highly regarded.

At MECCA, our Finance team is at the heart of the decisions that drive our business forward. We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our high-performing Commercial Finance team and partner with senior leaders across our eCommerce and Loyalty function to shape strategy, influence commercial decisions and drive profitable growth.

This is a highly autonomous role where you'll own the financial performance of your portfolio, act as a trusted advisor to Heads of and General Managers, and work on high-impact initiatives across a fast-growing, customer-first business.

The Role You Could Play

• Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you'll own the commercial performance of your portfolio to influence strategy, optimise business performance and deliver sustainable growth.
• Own the P&L for your portfolio, identifying risks, opportunities and key commercial drivers to influence business performance
• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders, providing commercial insight, financial modelling and strategic recommendations that shape business decisions
• Partner across departments to support strategic initiatives, business cases and transformation programs
• Deliver forecasting, reporting and scenario modelling that improves revenue, optimises margins and supports business growth
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, planning, systems and commercial finance processes

What You Will Bring:

You are a commercially minded and collaborative finance professional who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights and building strong relationships across the business. Ideally, you will bring:

• 3+ years’ experience in commercial finance, financial analysis or business partnering, ideally within a retail environment.
• Proven experience or exposure analysing loyalty program performance and customer data to inform commercial decisions
• A degree in Commerce, Finance or a related discipline, with strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and analytical capabilities.
• Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, influence decisions and communicate financial insights clearly.
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in TM1, Tableau, SQL or other data visualisation and planning tools highly regarded.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities and a passion for continuous improvement.
