About the opportunity

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Finance Business Partner for a 9-month max term role commencing January 2026. In this position, you'll work closely with senior executives to provide financial, operational, and strategic insights that shape business decisions. You'll lead complex budgeting and forecasting processes, deliver advanced reporting, and support future planning initiatives using tools such as Microsoft Power BI and IBM Cognos Planning Analytics.

Key Activities
  • Partner with executives to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • Attend operational meetings and provide financial guidance on workforce planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and datasets, handling large volumes of data from multiple systems.
  • Lead annual budget and reforecast processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, board submissions, and trend analysis.
  • Drive improvements in reporting and business analysis capability using Planning Analytics.
  • Provide training to uplift financial knowledge across the organisation.

About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; CA or CPA qualifications.
  • Proven experience in business partnering or advisory roles in fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong skills in Power BI dashboard development and data analysis (5+ years preferred).
  • Knowledge of IBM Cognos Planning Analytics highly regarded.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex reporting and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to work independently.
