Job summary

WMQ Limited in Chermside, Brisbane is seeking a Finance Business Analyst to deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting support. You’ll work with the Lead Financial Accountant on month-end, cashflow reporting and financial modelling to drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with experience in financial analysis.
Strong analytical and commercial acumen with ability to interpret financial data.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools and data analytics (Power BI).

Responsibilities

Support monthly, year-end and management reporting including reconciliations, journals and financial analysis.
Prepare and maintain cashflow reporting, monitor cash movements and forecasting.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support decision-making.
Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning and long-term forecasting.
Produce insights, dashboards and reporting tools to improve data visibility and performance.
Prepare audit-ready documentation and support audit processes.
Maintain integrity of financial data across systems and reporting platforms.
