Qualifications

• 8+ years’ PQE with banking & finance experience, including commercial lending and structured/asset finance.
• Experience drafting and negotiating financing and security documents in law firms or in‑house.
• Solid understanding of lending structures, collateral arrangements and financial services regulation.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

• Draft, review and negotiate financing and security documents (loan agreements, security docs, leasing, intercreditor agreements, asset finance).
• Advise on secured/syndicated lending, structured finance and equipment leasing across industries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, risk, compliance and external counsel to execute transactions.
• Provide guidance on AML/KYC and regulatory considerations affecting banking and finance matters.
• Support portfolio management, amendments, restructurings and strategic financing initiatives with practical legal advice.

These roles will involve advising on commercial lending, secured finance, asset finance and leasing transactions, while partnering closely with business, risk, and operational stakeholders in fast-paced in‑house environments. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical expertise, commercial judgment, and the ability to operate independently across complex financing and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of financing documentation, including loan agreements, security documents, leasing arrangements, intercreditor agreements, and asset finance documentation.
• Advise clients on secured lending, syndicated lending, structured finance, asset-based financing, and equipment leasing transactions across a variety of industries.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders, investment teams, compliance, risk, and external counsel to support transaction execution and ongoing financing activities.
• Provide legal guidance on regulatory and compliance matters, including AML/KYC obligations, capital management considerations, and broader banking and financial services regulatory frameworks.
• Support portfolio management, amendments, restructurings, and other strategic financing initiatives while delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice.

Requirements
