Job summary

Mercy Health Australia seeks a Finance Analyst to deliver hands-on financial support across journals, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the Health Services finance team at our North Richmond head office.

You will work with the Finance Business Partnering team, prepare journals, budgets, forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations and ad-hoc tasks, in a detail-oriented, organised environment with 38 hours per week permanent full-time.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of financial processes, including journals, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with multiple finance systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Well organised, with the ability to manage competing tasks and deadlines across multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post general ledger journals and support month end close processes.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts.
• Prepare financial analysis, reports and business case support.
• Provide flexible reporting support across multiple program areas and to the wider finance team as required.
• Support the annual acquittal process for Health Services.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and clear differences.
• Ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
