Job summary

Cater Care is hiring Utility All Rounders for FIFO roles across Cairns and Townsville, with assignments on mine sites, hotels, kitchens, and housekeeping. Positions include Mine Site Cleaner, Housekeeper, Kitchen Hand, and a combined Utility All-Rounder.

We seek motivated individuals with 12 months+ experience in related roles, a valid driver’s license, and a friendly, team-oriented approach. Pre-employment checks apply; benefits include discounts and corporate perks.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ experience as Utility/Utility All Rounder/Cleaner/Housekeeper/Kitchen Hand
• Must have a Drivers Licence (Auto or Manual)
• Police clearance and pre-employment medical may be required

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and clear dining areas
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure cleanliness of kitchen facilities and dining spaces
• Adhere to all legislated food safety and hygiene standards
• Provide efficient and friendly service during high-demand periods
• Support team members across departments as needed
• Prepare and serve texture-modified meals in line with dietary requirements
• Dining Room duties: cleanliness, stock replenishment, crib food levels
• Housekeeping: clean guest rooms and ensuites, make beds
• General Cleaning: waste management, sweeping and mopping
• Mine Site Cleaning: clean site offices, crib huts and bathhouses
