Job summary

Westfill Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced FIFO Storesperson with proven leadership to oversee daily store operations on a mining site in Western Australia. You will own stock accuracy, compliance, and performance while receiving, storing and issuing parts, tools, PPE, and other mining supplies.

Strong Pronto experience is essential. Responsibilities include managing stock thresholds, planning reorders with forecasting input, and conducting regular stocktakes and audits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience within a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• Extensive stores/inventory management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a track record of driving accuracy and accountability.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise demands (Physically fit).
• Strong familiarity with mining operations and safety standards.
• Solid computer and software skills.
• Current Driver's Licence with manual licence.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including Drug and Alcohol screening.
• Current Forklift Licence and able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day store operations.
• Take ownership of stock accuracy, compliance, and store performance.
• Receive, store, and issue parts, tools, PPE, and other mining supplies.
• Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems, and drive continuous improvement in stock control practices.
• Plan and oversee regular stocktakes and audits, ensuring discrepancies are properly investigated and resolved.
• Check incoming deliveries for accuracy.
• Respond to and prioritise requisition orders from maintenance, operations, and other departments.
• Manage minimum and maximum stock thresholds and lead reorder planning, liaising with supervisors on forecasting.
• Uphold and reinforce mine site safety procedures and protocols across the team.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
