Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Maintenance Manager with an electrical background to ensure maintenance compliance at Eureka Creek Village. The role offers DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane, a 9:5 12‑hour day roster, and a 12‑month fixed term.

You will lead contractors, own delivery for client issues, and guide the on‑site maintenance team while collaborating on infrastructure upgrades and upholding safety standards. A strong budget and OH&S focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade background with Queensland Electrical Work Licence.
• Gas Fitter License and/or QTP highly regarded.
• Experience in coal mining operations with supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong budgeting and commercial acumen.
• Ability to build productive client relationships.
• In-depth OH&S knowledge in similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site contractors performing maintenance and project works.
• Own client issues and delivery across the remit.
• Provide leadership to Grounds and on-site maintenance team.
• Collaborate with operations to improve infrastructure with minimal disruption.
• Promote safety culture aligned with Compass, client and industry standards.
• Utilise systems to track maintenance schedules, inventory and budgets.
