Job summary

ISS is seeking an experienced FIFO Housekeeping Supervisor to lead cleaning operations at a remote mining village in Central Queensland. This full-time role operates on a 9 days on / 5 days off FIFO roster, with a competitive base salary of $96,000 plus super.

All meals, accommodation and uniforms are provided on site. You will lead a team, plan schedules, ensure safety, inspect facilities, manage stock, and collaborate with the Site Manager to support daily village operations and resident

Qualifications

• Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and manage a team.
• Good understanding of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety requirements.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced, FIFO mining environment and manage priorities in a remote village.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a housekeeping team to deliver high-quality results.
• Plan and coordinate daily/weekly cleaning schedules based on site needs.
• Promote a strong safety culture and positive team environment.
• Conduct regular room and facility inspections for compliance and standards.
• Manage stock, supplies, equipment, and ordering.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and other departments for smooth operations.
• Train and develop team members for growth and performance.
