A leading engineering and maintenance firm is seeking experienced FIFO Concreters, Plumbers, Steel fixers, or Roof Sheeters to join their dynamic team. About the role:

In this leadership position, you'll oversee critical tasks in both greenfield and brownfield projects, including:

  • Formwork, reinforcement, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures
  • Operate vibrating tools, screeds, and other concrete finishing equipment
  • Complete rough‑in and fit‑off works for industrial or civil installations
  • Cut, bend, tie, and position steel bars and mesh for concrete structures
  • Work closely with formwork and concreting teams
  • Ensure correct bar placement, spacing, and coverage
  • Follow safety and quality procedures for reinforcement works
  • Install metal roof and wall cladding systems
  • Measure, cut, and fit sheets to specification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the demobilisation, re‑installation, and construction tasks on‑site.
  • Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.

About you:

Skills & Certifications:
  • Qualified Concreters, Plumbers, Steel fixers, or Roof Sheeters certification required.
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications must have been obtained within the last 2 years, with expired certifications being acceptable for consideration.
  • Additional licenses (Forklift, EWP, Telehandler) and DOG or RIG tickets are advantageous.
  • First Aid/ CPR - or ability to obtain.
  • Pre‑employment medical clearances - or ability to obtain.
  • MMQRHS and Lung Screen - or ability to obtain. Experience:
    • At least 2 years of trade experience, with a preference for mining or site‑based roles.
    • Industry experience in the maintenance and operation of processing plants is highly regarded.
    • Experience in mining operations in remote Australia is strongly desired.
    • Construction experience is highly valued.

    Roster: 14/7 with 12‑hour days (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM), with the option for an 8/6 roster.

    Superannuation: Paid on all hours worked.

    Accommodation & Meals: Provided in camp on site/in town depending on site.
