Job summary

Exact Contracting is seeking trade-qualified Boilermakers to join long-term civil construction projects across FIFO South Australian locations. The role covers general fabrication and welding duties on heavy earth moving and crushing and screening plant, including thermal lancing and drawing-based work.

The successful candidates must have trade qualifications, experience in stick, MIG, TIG and oxy welding, a current driver’s licence, white card, and working at heights, with a solid commitment to

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications recognised nationally.
• Experience with STICK, MIG, TIG, and OXY welding, including cutting.
• Experience replacing structural steel and repairing conveyors, crushers, chutes, buckets and truck bodies.
• Ability to read and work from detailed drawings.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence, construction white card and working at heights.
• Strong health and safety commitment.
• Team player with personal drive and results orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general fabrication and welding duties across our plant.
• Work from drawings and follow planned and preventative maintenance.
• Contribute to safety practices and a safe work environment.
• Support long-term civil construction projects on FIFO sites.
• Provide quality workmanship on earth moving and crushing/screening equipment.
