Job summary

Woods & Co Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to join a growing Melbourne-based technology business. You will diagnose and repair equipment on client sites, provide technical support by phone, email and digital tools, and assist with installations while also supporting backend systems and administration.

You will travel to client sites across Melbourne and occasionally interstate, performing routine maintenance and ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or technical support roles.
• Strong computer and technical skills.
• Able to learn new software, hardware and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites to diagnose and resolve technical and hardware issues.
• Provide technical support to clients via email, phone and digital platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and servicing of equipment.
• Monitor equipment remotely and respond to faults as required.
• Install and setup equipment at client locations.
• Coordinate with internal teams for installations and requirements.
• Maintain fault logs, service records and technical documentation.
