Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Sewer Supervisor to lead field crews across the Coburg area for essential sewer network maintenance and repair works. Based in Epping, VIC, this permanent full-time role emphasizes safety, quality and timely delivery.

You'll supervise crews, coordinate resources, perform field audits, provide technical guidance, and liaise with authorities to secure permits and site access. Strong leadership and safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or leadership roles within civil, utilities, infrastructure or sewer operations.
• Strong knowledge of field-based maintenance and construction activities.
• Experience managing performance and delivering targets.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising field crews to ensure safe, productive and compliant work practices.
• Conducting regular field audits and site inspections.

• Ensuring all pre-start activities, permits and safety documentation are completed correctly.
• Reviewing and approving timesheets and work order allocations for accuracy.

About the Role

Epping, VIC | Permanent Full-Time Join Service Stream and Help Deliver Essential Sewer Network Services Service Stream’s Utilities division is seeking an experienced Sewer Supervisor to join our growing team in Coburg. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination, supervision and quality control of field crews and subcontractors delivering maintenance and repair works across the sewer network. Working closely with the Senior Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the high standards expected by our client and stakeholders.

• Leading and supervising field crews to ensure safe, productive and compliant work practices.

• Strong safety focus with a demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive safety culture.


• Well-developed organisational and problem-solving abilities.


• Previous sewer industry experience (highly regarded).


• The ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Critical Infrastructure Background Check in accordance with AusCheck requirements.
