Put your mechanical skills to work in a hands-on role supporting critical mining operations across customer sites and Weir Service Centres. You'll carry out maintenance, repairs and technical service on industry-leading GEHO equipment while contributing to safety, continuous improvement and world-class customer support. Perform maintenance, repairs, rebuilds, and installations on critical Weir GEHO equipment to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.
Deliver hands‑on field service support, supervise customer personnel onsite, and build strong customer relationships.
Collaborate with service teams to improve operational efficiency, apply lean principles, and support business growth initiatives.
Demonstrate leadership through safe work practices, workforce engagement, flexibility, and a commitment to achieving business objectives.
Travel regularly to customer sites and service centres to complete inspections, maintenance, testing, documentation, and project work while maintaining a zero‑harm safety focus.

Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting, Machining, or related discipline (AQF Level III or higher).
Proven experience in fitting and machining within workshop and onsite environments, delivering work to precise tolerances.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety procedures, and maintenance instructions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting with customers and stakeholders.
Previous leadership experience or the demonstrated ability to lead teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Adaptable and solutions‑focused, with knowledge of lean principles and practical application of mathematical concepts in the workplace.
