WesTrac Cadia is hiring for an on-site Field Service role. You will perform maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and component changes on CAT equipment in a mining environment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Ideal candidates hold an Australian-recognised mechanical trade (e.g., Cert III HD Plant) and have strong fault-finding skills, with CAT or similar gear experience. A current driving license and field service experience are highly valued.

Formación

• On-site mechanical trade qualification required (Australian-recognised).
• Proven diagnostic and fault-finding abilities on heavy equipment.
• Experience with CAT or comparable surface mining gear is highly regarded.

About the Opportunity

WesTrac | Cadia - Field Service

Join our Cadia Field Service Team and be part of a highly skilled crew delivering industry-leading CAT machine support in the field. You'll take ownership of maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and component change-outs on‑site, ensuring every machine operates safely, reliably, and at peak performance.

What you'll do

• Perform on‑site maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and component replacements on CAT equipment
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics and quality checks to identify faults and ensure equipment reliability
• Complete scheduled maintenance and field service activities in line with customer requirements and operational priorities
• Maintain a safe, organised work environment in the field while collaborang closely with Supervisors, planners and site personnel

What you'll bring

• Australian‑recognised mechanical trade (e.g., Cert III HD Plant)
• Proven rebuilds/major component overhaul/assembly experience
• CAT or comparable surface mining gear; strong diagnostics/fault‑finding
• Proactive, safety‑first mindset; unrestricted driver’s licence
• Field Service Experience (Highly regarded)
