Job summary

2xm is seeking Maintenance Electricians to join a field service team across multiple customer sites in the Greater Sydney region. The role combines hands-on electrical maintenance with customer-facing service, fault finding, and proactive maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.

You will work on conveyors, high-speed sorting, shuttle systems, robotics, motors, drives and PLC-controlled automation, ensuring safety and compliance while supporting ongoing uptime for clients.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills
• Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, sensors and PLC-based control systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
• Fit for field service in automated warehouse environments

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on automated material handling systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime
• Respond to breakdowns across customer sites in the Melbourne/Sydney region
• Replace and commission electrical components
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, safety circuits and PLCs
• Maintain maintenance documentation using CMMS
• Build strong customer relationships through professional communication
