Job summary

FieldCore is seeking a Rigger to support installation and maintenance of power-generation equipment. You will move heavy loads, rigging systems, and assist field crews under supervision, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and hands-on rigging experience; certifications are highly desired. Extensive travel, overtime, and outdoor work are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and related mechanical experience.
• Rigger certifications desirable but not required.
• Experience with moving and handling heavy loads in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Signal or direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Test rigging for safety and reliability.
• Attach loads to rigging using hand and power tools.
• Select gear such as slings, shackles, and winches per load.
• Control movement of heavy equipment through confined spaces.
• Move and position loads using multi-point suspension techniques.
• Operate rigging lines and hoists to move materials.
• Inspect and dress machine surfaces and components.
