Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a Field Systems Integration Engineer – Radar & Defence Systems to join our Canberra-based Engineering team. This permanent, full-time role involves integrating radar systems within Defence C4ISR, conducting testing and commissioning, and providing field support with approx.

10–12 weeks of travel annually across Australia and the US. The ideal candidate has a background in electronics or electrical engineering, experience with complex radar and networking systems, and the

Qualifications

• Experience in systems integration, field support, commissioning, testing, and operational support of complex technical systems.
• Background in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, networking, cyber security or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting radar, electronic, or mission systems.
• Knowledge of military Mission Systems and Defence C4ISR environments.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, testing, commissioning and ongoing support of radar systems in fielded environments and facilities.
• Integrate radar systems into Defence C4ISR infrastructure and configure network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, systems, networking and interfaces.
• Plan and execute system integration and test activities to ensure safe operation.
• Support system trials and field deployments as required.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, Defence personnel, suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Produce accurate test reports and documentation following Defence protocols.
