Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Project Engineer for on-site delivery in Melbourne. You will own project engineering activities across critical electrical infrastructure, including installation, testing and commissioning, while collaborating with customers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project engineering experience in the electrical industry.
• Experience in project delivery, electrical design, installation or commissioning.
• Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex situations and resolve conflict.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support project engineering and delivery across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage electrical design documentation and technical submissions.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and QA activities.
• Support safe, compliant on-site delivery.
• Work with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Resolve technical issues and develop engineering solutions.
• Manage priorities to keep project activities on track.
