Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Field Professional - General Field Prof for L&P Cased Hole in Gidgealpa, SA. You will provide basic services and tool operation at the well site under supervision, applying engineering and geological principles to data and client interactions.

You will participate in training and development of operators and Associate Field Professionals, with a degree in engineering or science preferred and at least one year of Cased Hole Wireline field experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science or other technical discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cased Hole Wireline field operations required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic services and tool operation at the well site under supervision.
• Apply engineering principles to data interpretations and mechanical constructs to clients from proprietary software and coach clients through drilling/completion scenarios.
• Participate in training and development of operators and Associate Field Professionals on all aspects of the job.

Job Duties

• Under general supervision, applies knowledge of Halliburton Cased Hole Wireline Technologies to independently provide basic services and tool operation to customers at the well site.
• Applies engineering, mechanical and geological principles to articulate basic data interpretations and mechanical constructs to clients from proprietary software and learns to coach clients through various drilling and completion scenarios.
• Actively participates in the training and development of operators and Associate Field Professionals on all aspects of job.

Qualifications

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science or other technical discipline is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cased Hole Wireline field operations required.
