Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Operator V - Wireline / E-Line based in Sale, Victoria, Australia. You will learn, develop technical knowledge and be mentored by an experienced team while gaining insight into wellsite problem solving and resolution development.

The role involves delivering wireline services offshore under supervision, coordinating with client offshore supervisors, managing inventory, operating Wireline Surface Pressure Control Equipment, and performing duties with a strong

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6+ years of relevant land or offshore experience in wireline or E-Line operations.
• Competency in preparation and operation of Wireline Surface Pressure Control Equipment.
• Team player with the ability to build trusting customer relationships and strong communication.
• Ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, milestones and deliverables.
• Valid driving license (local or international).
• License in shotfirer; radiation knowledge preferred.
• IELTS/TOEFL/PTE Cambridge/ OET required for work permit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safety array for wireline services offshore under supervision of Wireline Engineer.
• Collaborate with client's offshore wellsite supervisor to achieve wireline/E-Line objectives safely and efficiently.
• Manage spare parts and offshore inventory; maintain records and communications.
• Ensure safe operation of Wireline Surface Pressure Control Equipment.
• Operate a wireline hoist unit to deploy services in and out of the wellbore.
• Perform wellsite duties with a strong focus on safety as instructed.

As a Field Operator V - Wireline / E-Line, you'll be able to learn, develop knowledge and gain valuable technical insight. You'll be guided and mentored by an experience team member. To have full understanding towards wellsite problems and how to develop resolutions.

As a Field Operator V - Wireline / E-Line, you will be responsible for :

• Delivering safety array for wireline services in an offshore environment, under the supervision of Wireline Engineer.
  
• Working directly with client's offshore wellsite supervisor to deliver wireline or E-Line objectives in a safe and efficient manner.
  
• Managing spare parts and offshore inventory, maintaining records and communications
  
• Being responsible for the safe operation of Wireline Surface pressure control equipment
  
• Being competent to operate a wireline hoist unit, to safely deploy a vast array of services in & out of the wellbore.
  
• Carrying out duties at the wellsite for the work as per the instructions received with high level of safety awareness.
  

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have diploma or equivalent.
  
• Have 6 years and above relevant land or offshore experience in wireline or E-Line operations.
  
• Have good competency in preparation and operating Wireline Surface Pressure Control Equipment
  
• Be a team player with ability to build trusting relationships with customers and display good communication skills.
  
• Have ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
  
• Have valid driving license (local or international)
  
• Have license in shotfirer, radiation is preferred.
  
• Have passed either IELTS, TOEFL, PTE academic, Cambridge English Advance or OET (Required for work permit application)
