A municipal organization in Geelong is seeking a full-time Waste Services Officer to join their team. The role involves hands-on work to ensure effective waste management, conducting inspections, and providing exceptional service to the community. In this role, you will be part of a team that keeps our city clean, green and running smoothly. You’ll play a hands‑on role in delivering high‑quality waste and recycling services across the community — from inspecting and maintaining litter bins to supporting kerbside collection operations. Classification: Band 3 commencing at $68,775 pa plus super.
To be successful in this role, you will have the opportunity to put your repair and maintenance skills into action, working hands‑on as a practical problem‑solver and handyman. You’ll enjoy a physically active role, performing tasks that make a real difference in keeping our city clean and well‑maintained, while following Occupational Health and Safety guidelines to work safely and effectively.
