Rashi Joshi in Mount Isa is seeking a hands-on Home Modifications & Maintenance Technician to carry out a range of installations and repairs across North West Queensland. You'll work on installing grab rails, ramps, handrails and access solutions, reading drawings and liaising with clients to deliver safe, high-quality workmanship for

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or strong maintenance background.
• Current QLD Driver's Licence.
• Current Blue Card.
• Current Federal Police Check.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willing to travel North West region.
• Welding experience highly regarded.
• Workshop or fabrication experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installing grab rails, ramps, handrails and access solutions.
• Installing interconnected smoke alarm systems.
• General home maintenance and repair work.
• Replacing taps, washers and door locks.
• Realigning doors and completing minor carpentry tasks.
• Reading drawings and plans.
• Liaising professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
