Job summary

All Energy Contracting (AEC) seeks a proactive environmental professional to support renewable energy projects across Australia and New Zealand. This site-based role focuses on implementing environmental practices, managing risks and ensuring compliance with legislation and HSE standards.

Located in Maryborough, QLD, the position operates on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a 2:1 FIFO/DIDO roster, reporting to the Group Head HSES and HSE team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in environmental or sustainability roles, preferably in construction, renewables, civil or infrastructure.
• Formal qualifications in environment or sustainability highly regarded.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals, ISO 14001.
• Experience with environmental inspections, monitoring, risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Experience with erosion and sediment control and waste management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor environmental plans, permits and approvals.
• Provide practical environmental advice to project and site teams.
• Conduct inspections, monitoring and audits to verify controls.
• Maintain records and support reporting to clients and regulators.
• Deliver inductions and site awareness initiatives.
• Promote environmental accountability and build capability across site teams.
