Job summary

SU Australia is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee local ministry delivery across Greater Western Sydney. Based from a home office with travel, you will train staff and volunteers, coach teams, and build healthy partnerships within churches, schools, and communities to extend SU’s reach.

This full‑time role focuses on expanding camps and programs, developing leaders, and embedding a strong child-safe culture.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of Christian youth and children’s ministry.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a team in not-for-profit environment.
• Demonstrated ability to network, build partnerships and strategic alliances with a broad range of people.
• Desirable experience in community fundraising and involvement within the Education sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead local delivery of SU ministry through training and coaching staff and volunteers.
• Grow SU ministry by establishing new camps and programs.
• Coach event directors and volunteers across the district.
