Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking a Site Surveillance Officer - Civil for the Snowy 2.0 project. You will provide site surveillance to ensure civil works meet design requirements, contractual obligations and safety standards.

The role is field-focused, with hands-on collaboration across stakeholders to safeguard quality and long-term asset integrity. Aligned with a 14/7 FIFO roster at the Lobs Hole site, the position requires a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, and proven ability to influence,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent construction background with substantial hands-on experience.
• Experience in surveillance or engineering on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Contractor oversight and quality assurance across active and non-active fronts, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and guidelines.
• Champion safety, implement plans, and uphold Snowy Health & Safety policies.
• Identify issues early, mitigate risks, and deliver timely engineering solutions.
• Coordinate daily with Safety, Environmental and QA teams and produce daily/weekly progress reports.
