Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Local Authority Research Practitioner (LARP) who will travel independently to meet deadlines, hold a UK driving licence, and work with CPFT and Local Authority partners to deliver studies per protocol.

You will maintain study records, manage data with good clinical governance, contribute to SOP development, support ethical approvals, and provide updates to R&D and CPFT forums, promoting a positive research culture and informed

Qualifications

• Strong data handling and governance knowledge.
• Experience with ICH GCP principles and NHS R&D processes.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver studies on time per protocol.
• Perform horizon scanning to identify research opportunities with partners.
• Accurately complete study-related activities electronically or on paper.
• Provide updates on study progress to R&D and CPFT forums.
• Maintain records and documentation supporting governance.
• Ensure data management, quality and security per guidelines and GCP.
• Oversee ethical requirements and REC submissions.
• Register and review research projects with the Trust R&D Dept before commencement.
• Advise the MDT with knowledge of ICH GCP and R&D functions.
• Report incidents and governance concerns.
• Promote a positive research culture and informed consent processes.
