Help at Home by Montefiore is seeking a female Personal Home Care Worker for casual shifts across the Eastern and Southern Suburbs of Sydney. You will provide in-home care, including shower assistance, meal prep, and companionship for clients living with dementia, while maintaining high standards of presentation and communication.

Requirements include a Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care, a valid driver’s licence with comprehensive insurance, and the ability to work varied shifts

Qualifications

• Available during the week and on weekends.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Impeccable presentation at all times.
• Shifts from 1 hour up to 24 hours, including overnight.
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar.
• Previous experience in personal care is required.
• Must have a car with comprehensive insurance and a current driver’s licence.

Female Personal Home Care Worker -Cert III Eastern & South Suburbs

Help at Home by Montefiore is a not-for-profit organisation based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. We are committed to delivering the best possible home care, by empowering individuals to live with choice, dignity and independence. Due to a growth in our client base, we are looking for highly experienced female personal care workers willing to work casual shifts which vary from 1 hour up to 24hrs. Our clients are based in the Eastern and Southern Suburbs of Sydney.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Personal care (Shower assist, feeding, toileting)
• Experienced in cognitive support and dementia-type care
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Social support and companionship
• Chaperone to appointments- if necessary
• Companionship

Requirements for this role:

• Available during the week and on weekends
• High level of verbal communication skills -Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential
• Impeccable presentation at all times
• Must be able to work varies shifts ranging from 1 hour up to 24 Hour / Overnight shifts
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar
• Previous experience working in a personal care worker capacity.
• Must have a car with comprehensive insurance and a current driver's licence.
