Job summary

JBS Australia invites applicants for the Feedlot Graduate Program. Based at Beef City Feedlot (Toowoomba, QLD), you will rotate through livestock management, mill operations, nutrition, and procurement, gaining hands-on experience across feedlot operations and related functions.

Over two years, you will undertake training in Certificate III in Feedlot Operations and related workshops, with final relocation and other site rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or final year student in animal science, agribusiness or related discipline.
• Ability to research, filter and organise information on unfamiliar topics.
• Self-motivated with ability to learn quickly across complex environments.
• Proactive, takes ownership and shows initiative.
• High computer literacy, especially MS Office.
• Hold a current open or provisional Australian driver’s licence and unrestricted working rights.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotations across multiple departments of the feedlot business.
• Learn livestock management, mill operations, feeding, QA, WHS and admin tasks.
• Undergo on‑the‑job and external training to build key skills.
• Develop soft skills, technical capability and project management through activities.
