Mort & Co is seeking Livestock Workers for Grassdale Feedlot in Dalby, Australia. The positions focus on cattle movements, drafting, and welfare within the Livestock Health and Movements team. You will perform tasks such as pen riding, monitoring cattle health, and reporting in feedlot systems.

Experience with livestock, willingness to learn, and a commitment to low-stress handling are essential. Hors es handling is a plus. A safety‑conscious team culture and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working with livestock in a feedlot environment.
• Ability to apply low-stress cattle handling principles.
• Demonstrated effective verbal communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively with team to achieve daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pen riding/walking, livestock movements, drafting, induction, processing and hospital treatments.
• Assessing sick/injured cattle and administering treatments.
• Maintaining accurate records in specialist feedlot systems.
• Ensure cattle health, welfare and performance are monitored daily.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.
