ProTen is seeking Farm Hands for Adare Farm in Gatton, QLD 4343. You will join a team working daily with poultry, following directions from farm managers and supporting health and welfare of birds.

Ideal candidates value safety and hands-on farm tasks, with a proactive mindset and the right to work in Australia. The role offers casual hours on-site with opportunities to learn and progress.

Competenze

• Previous experience with Poultry Farming is not essential but would be highly regarded.
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach to farm management.
• High regard for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, promoting a positive WHS culture.
• Physical fitness to perform farm duties, supported by a pre-employment functional assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).
• The right to work in Australia.

About the role

We are looking for Farm Hands to join our teams in current vacancies on our Adare Farm (Gatton, QLD 4343). You will be working alongside managers with day-to-day work on the poultry farms. With the scope to progress into future management roles.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Working as part of an effective and efficient team, including following direction from farm manager and assistant farm manager
• Working with livestock daily and making sure bird health and wellbeing is excellent.
• Daily shed routine checks, record keeping, grounds maintenance
• Completing minor repairs, reporting repairs to be made.
• Making sure company policies and biosecurity measures are followed at all times.
