Customised Farm Management (CFM) is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to service and maintain farm equipment on Noongaburra, Hay NSW. You’ll perform diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance across irrigation and cropping machinery, ensuring compliance with WH&S policies and safe operation.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, relevant trade qualifications, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with accommodation and a work vehicle offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair agricultural plant and equipment.
• Experience with servicing and maintaining agricultural machinery.
• Good record keeping and basic computer literacy.
• Trade qualification highly regarded but not essential.
• Current driver’s licence is essential.

Responsabilités

• Implement maintenance, servicing and planning to minimise downtime.
• Service and repair a wide range of farm machinery and equipment.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and fault finding to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate servicing and maintenance records.
• Coordinate major repairs with external suppliers.
• Maintain safe workshop and surrounding areas in line with WH&S policies.
• Work with Farm Manager to align maintenance with operations.
