Job summary

Local Workforce Hire in New South Wales is hiring experienced General Labourers or Trade Assistants for immediate starts. You’ll work with builders, landscapers and industrial sites with regular shifts and weekly pay.

Duties include site prep, material handling, digging, lifting, and assisting qualified tradespeople across commercial and residential projects. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% superannuation, a $22 daily travel allowance and ongoing casual assignments leading to potential permanent

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport are highly preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Safety glasses
