Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a reliable Skilled Labourer to join our team in NSW. Immediate start with ongoing casual assignments.

You will perform general labouring across commercial and residential sites, with PPE provided and safety as a priority. A White Card and a valid driver's licence are required.

We offer $35.11 per hour, weekly pay, superannuation, and a daily travel allowance to support consistent earnings and potential permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card held.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
• Work gloves
• High-visibility clothing
