Job summary

healthAbility is seeking a part-time Family Support Practitioner to work with children, youth and families across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. The role offers hybrid arrangements and a competitive salary with salary packaging options.

Deliver short-term counselling, parenting support and group workshops while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve client outcomes and connect families to community resources.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field.
• Experience supporting children, young people and families in community services.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development.
• Confident facilitating groups, workshops and parent education.
• Strong networking within local communities.
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Current Victorian Driver's licence.
