Job summary

Uniting is seeking a dedicated Orange Door practitioner in Dandenong to join a multidisciplinary team delivering intake and support for children, young people and families. You will assess, plan and refer, ensuring safety and well-being for vulnerable clients within the Best Interests framework.

You will work within a matrix structure, supported by practice leaders, and contribute to an integrated service model across Victoria.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or related discipline as per Victorian Government requirements.
• MARAM Framework and Best Interests Principles understanding is preferred.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for children and families.
• Develop Family Action Plans and Safety Plans as needed.
• Make referrals to partner services and advocate for clients.
