Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking an Associate in our Family Office Tax team in Brisbane. You will contribute to tailored tax compliance and strategic planning for privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, family offices and philanthropic entities, expanding your technical capability and client service skills.

You will work with experienced professionals and across diverse sectors, supporting the development and implementation of tax strategies aligned to clients’ broader financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Developing understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations, especially for high-net-worth individuals, private clients and family offices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tax returns, financial statements and related filings.
• Ability to clearly explain tax concepts to clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with complex tax compliance issues.
• Support design and implementation of structures aligned with clients' commercial objectives.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office, including representing clients during ATO engagements.
• Apply tax knowledge across sectors of the Australian economy.
• Collaborate with other PwC professionals to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
