Job summary

Family Lawyers Mackay is seeking a Family Lawyer to join our Mackay office and manage your own caseload across parenting matters, property settlements and domestic violence orders. You will have plenty of client contact and regular Court appearances, supported by supervision from our Accredited Specialist/Partner in Brisbane, with access to shared precedents and a strong mentoring environment.

Admitted in Queensland with at least 1 year of family law experience and a calm, empathetic approach

Qualifications

Admitted in Queensland with at least 1 year of family law experience.
Empathetic and calm with clients in difficult circumstances.
Confident running your own files, and a good team member.
Detail-focused and comfortable with modern practice management technology.
Interested in building your profile and client base in the Mackay community (we’ll support this)

Responsibilities

Manage your own caseload of parenting matters, property settlements and domestic violence orders.
Extensive client contact and regular Court appearances, backed by supervision from our Accredited Specialist / Partner in Brisbane.
