The Garvan Institute invites applications for a faculty-level position in the Cancer Plasticity and Dormancy Program. The successful candidate will build on existing research and international partnerships in data science, computational biology and machine learning, including representation learning and geometric deep learning approaches.

They will contribute to program-specific cancer questions and to multidisciplinary collaborations across Garvan and other national and international

Qualificações

• Strong track record in computational biology and machine learning.
• Experience building ML tools for biological questions is desirable.
• A record of high-quality scientific output relative to opportunity.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to data science, computational biology and ML research.
• Develop approaches applicable to cancer and immunology questions.
• Foster multidisciplinary collaborations across Garvan and national/international partners.
