Job summary

Workfast is seeking forklift operators and factory labourers to join our manufacturing and distribution team in Heathwood, QLD. The rate of pay is $33 - $36 per hour + Super and OT during busy periods!

Candidate must have 2+ years factory labouring experience, Forklift Licence, and computer experience, and be reliable, hardworking and fit to stand all day. Mon-Fri 6am to 3:30pm with full-time hours and an immediate start.

• Computer experience a MUST.
• Physically fit and able to stand all day.

Responsibilities

• Factory labouring tasks as assigned.
• Dispatch preparation and labouring.
• Manual handling and lifting when necessary.
• Load moulds with plastic powder and de-mould products.

About you

Candidates must have 2+ years experience as a Factory Hand, Production Assistant or Machine Operator. Candidates must also bereliable, hardworking and physically fit. Attention to detail, effective communication and the ability to be on one's feet all day is essential to success in this role.

What you will be doing

• Factory labouring
• Dispatch labouring
• Manual handling and lifting when necessary
• Loading moulds with plastic powder and de-moulding products from moulds
• Weighing materials.
• Stacking product on pallets.
• Trimming plastic products.
• Completing paperwork accurately.
• Using hand and power tools for trimming and fitting out products.
• Using overhead cranes.
• Safe work practices.
• Some heavy lifting involved.
