Job summary

Primo Foods in Wacol is seeking reliable Hygiene Operatives to maintain the highest cleanliness and food safety standards across our production facility. This permanent full-time role offers a Monday to Friday roster, on-the-job training and real opportunities for career progression within Primo Foods and JBS Australia.

Experience in cleaning, sanitation or food manufacturing is preferred; you will join a safety-focused team working around raw meat products with full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, sanitation, manufacturing, food processing, or similar environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Safety-focused attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and machinery.
• Clean tools, tubs, bins, trolleys and production areas.
• Conduct pre-operational hygiene inspections.
• Safely handle and prepare cleaning chemicals.
• Complete cleaning and sanitation records.
• Report maintenance or hygiene concerns.
• Follow food safety, GMP and site hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.

Join our Hygiene team at Primo Foods in Wacol. We're looking for reliable and motivated Hygiene Operatives to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene across our production facility.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning and sanitising production equipment and machinery
• Cleaning tools, tubs, bins, trolleys, and production areas
• Conducting pre-operational hygiene inspections
• Handling and preparing cleaning chemicals safely
• Completing cleaning and sanitation records
• Reporting maintenance or hygiene concerns
• Following food safety, GMP, and site hygiene standards
• Working closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams
