Job summary

NSW Health's Murrumbidgee Local Health District invites applications for a Facility Nurse Manager at Holbrook Multi Purpose Service. This senior role leads clinical governance, strategy and continuous improvement to improve health outcomes for patients and residents.

You will provide clinical leadership, drive quality and safety, oversee resources, and lead change in a rural community, supported by development opportunities and accommodation assistance.

About the Opportunity

As the Facility Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of services at Holbrook Multi Purpose Service. You will take a proactive role in overseeing and driving continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen service delivery, and achieve improved health outcomes for patients and residents.

As the Facility Nurse Manager, you will:

• Provide clinical leadership to the team, to ensure the exceptional delivery of evidence-based care within contemporary models of practice. Ensure governance processes are in place, including timely and appropriate responses to incidents, complaints, and risk management.
• Lead and manage processes that drive quality outcomes, ensure patient safety, and support continuous improvement—demonstrated through the achievement of key performance indicators, outcome measures, patient and staff surveys, and audit results
• Manage the efficient use and coordination of physical and financial resources to maximise expenditure toward health outcomes and ensure plans are in place to promote business continuity and avoid potential service disruptions
• Lead with purpose by motivating and managing teams, applying change management to address challenges in community and rural health service delivery.
