Job summary

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, part of The Star Entertainment Group, is seeking a dedicated Facility Cleaner to keep our venue spotless and welcoming for guests. You’ll work across days, nights and weekends, maintaining high standards in exhibition halls, meeting rooms, foyers and other public spaces.

You thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with strong attention to detail and a friendly, professional approach to guest service.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks.
• Experience in busy customer-facing environments.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Must have full Australian working rights and pass a probity check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas to a high standard.
• Fulfill guest requests for amenities and services promptly.
• Report maintenance issues and assist with special cleaning tasks.

Job description

As a Facility Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in keeping our Centre spotless and ensuring it's always ready to welcome guests. We are looking for individuals who can work a variety of shifts throughout the week, including days, nights and weekends.
Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Ensuring that public areas such as exhibition halls, meeting rooms, corridors, foyers, balconies, bathrooms and back of house areas are cleaned and maintained to a very high standard
• Ensuring that all guest requests for amenities and services are promptly fulfilled
• Reporting maintenance issues and attending to special cleaning assignments
• Assisting with guest enquiries inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
