Job summary

McCormick on the Sunshine Coast at Palmwoods seeks a Maintenance Support to perform preventative and corrective maintenance across facilities and grounds. You will support GMP and QA actions and help with scheduled maintenance tasks, including operating the WWTP when needed.

This hands-on role requires basic repair skills, forklift/scissor lift capability, and the ability to work independently or in a team as part of a supportive facility team.

Qualifications

• Previous general maintenance experience.
• Basic repair and handyman skills.
• Forklift and scissor lift licenses preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and GMP/QA awareness.
• Willingness to learn and cover WWTP operations when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of facilities and grounds.
• Maintain external areas (driveways, carparks, paths, roads) and keep debris-free.
• Carry out basic internal repairs (taps, toilets, fittings) and general painting.
• Support trades with breakdowns and scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Assist with cleaning and upkeep of site facilities and event setup.
• Operate forklift and scissor lift as required.
